With version 8.0 or later of the Contacts Sync app, it's easier than ever to sync multiple Google accounts right from your Mac. However, the procedure will vary depending on your specific objective:
Objective: Sync 2 Google accounts, so that you have the same contacts in both places
To accomplish that, please follow these steps:
- Go to Contacts Sync > Accounts, and select "Sync 2 Google Accounts instead," if you haven't done so already
- Go to Contacts Sync > Accounts, and sign into each of your 2 Google accounts
- Go to Contacts Sync > Sync, and sync your contacts in the desired direction
Objective: Create a 3-way sync between 2 Google accounts and an macOS account, with the same contacts in all 3 places
To accomplish that, please follow these steps:
- Go to Contacts Sync > Accounts, and select "Sync 2 Google Accounts instead," if you haven't done so already
- Go to Contacts Sync > Accounts, and sign into each of your 2 Google accounts
- Go to Contacts Sync > Sync > 2-Way Sync
- Go to Contacts Sync > Accounts, and select "Sync Google & Mac instead"
- Go to Contacts Sync > Sync > 2-Way Sync
- Repeat these steps as desired
Objective: Add contacts from multiple Google accounts to my Mac, but with the contacts from each Google account kept separate
- In this situation, I would suggest syncing your primary Google account with Mac using this app. Add any additional Google accounts by going to your Mac System Preferences > Internet Accounts.
