How do I eliminate duplicate contacts?

1. First, eliminate duplicates from your Google account by visiting https://contacts.google.com/merge 
2. Complete the merge.
3. To eliminate the same duplicates from your Mac, sync again using this app, making sure that the "Sync Deleted Contacts" setting is turned on.
