- iPhone Groups
- iPhone groups can be accessed by any app including the standard Contacts app, but only on the device that created them unless you have your contacts synced using an app such as Contacts Sync For Google Gmail. Only contacts that belong to your local iPhone address book can be added to an iPhone group.
- iCloud Groups
- iCloud groups can be accessed by any app including the standard Contacts app. They can accessed on any device signed into the same iCloud account. Only contacts that belong to your iCloud account can be added to an iCloud group.
- CardDAV Groups
- CardDAV groups can be accessed by any app including the standard Contacts app. They can be accessed by any device signed into the same CardDAV account. Only contacts that belong to your CardDAV account can be added to a CardDAV group.
- A2Z Groups
- A2Z groups can only be accessed by A2Z Contacts. However, unlike other types of groups, any type of contact can be added to an A2Z Group including local, iCloud, CardDAV, Exchange, & Facebook contacts.
