I already know how to merge duplicates in my Gmail Contacts file.
What I asked was, "I have "Detect Google Duplicates" checked. Yet, every time the sync process occurs, it does NOT detect the 50+ duplicates that exist in my Google contacts online. None of these duplicates exist in my Apple Contacts file which is sync'd to iCloud. And, all of my devices (iPhone and iPad) are also sync'd to my iCloud contacts. So, what is generating these duplicates? Even when I delete ALL contacts in my Google Gmail account and re-upload them using your app, Google still shows about 50+ duplicates... which I have to merge. Does the Detect Duplicates feature actually work?"
I apologize for not seeing your comment earlier. Please email me at contactssyncforiphone@gmail.com, and we can discuss a solution.
Thanks for replying to my Jan 7 query about how to eliminate duplicate contacts with this app. But first, who are you? Are you the developer? Could you first verify your identity so I know whether I am talking with a legitimate person or a spammer?
I'm the developer.
I have the same problem. I am sending an email also. Thanks Steve.
I'll send you an email response shortly.
